Vote For Stammy

He will make all your dreams come true.

Stammy (Paul Stamatiou) is in the running for a $5,000 blogging scholarship for college students. I’ve been reading Paul’s blog pretty much since he started it. I’ve also had the chance to meet and hang out with Paul on a few occasions. Even though Stammy is still a college student I would consider him an A-lister and he definitely deserves this, so follow this link and vote for him.

Danny Sullivan and Incisive Work Out Their Differences

Today, Danny announced that he worked out an agreement with Incisive to stick around another year. While he’s still leaving Search Engine Watch at least Danny will a part of SES for one more year. He’s also planning a couple events of his own and a new search blog. Congrats Danny!

Google & YouTube Theory

I’m sure you’re probably just as sick of reading all the different opinions of GooTube as I am. Here’s one of the better ones that I’ve come across though, and while it’s just a theory, it makes perfect sense.

Two years ago Google had one data center. Today they are reported to have 64. Two years from now, they will have 300-plus…

…and you will have the latency and speed to pipe HD video into any home in the US….

Google bought YouTube as a stepping stone to grab the largest market share of internet video, which will be monetized once we all sit down in the living room to watch the latest movie releases from YouTube on our big screen TVs.
